We’ve had an extremely frustrating experience so far with ShipCalm. Since they acquired our previous warehouse (River Source Logistics), the level of service has drastically declined despite the fees quadrupling . Within a short period of time, they lost over $1,000 worth of our inventory the week it needed to be sent in for Black Friday. This happened back in October, and despite numerous calls, voicemails, and follow-ups, there has been no resolution.

The communication has been terrible — voicemails go unanswered, and our emails are ignored. In reading other reviews re: the same issue, there is very little accountability taken.

I cannot recommend ShipCalm to any business that values reliability and proper communication.

Looks like my other review was deleted. But I’ll say it again as a warning. Do not use ShipCalm. They are terribly disorganized. Take forever to respond with resolution when something goes wrong & they are incredibly expensive which would only be acceptable IF they were on point & not as terrible as they are. The packing teams are careless & just throw your items in a box with little to no added protections. They refuse to use packing peanuts instead of a sheet of Kraft paper which doesn’t do much. Lost products or products received incorrect to left & right. I sincerely do not know how they are still in business. I’m working on getting out of their warehouse but you have to physically go down to them & remove your products and as a new mom I’m still working on how to make time to do that. The management/sales team & the people on the ground tell you 2 different things. Tom the owner is dismissive & need to probably let this business go & sell it to someone with more experience. There’s so much more I could say but just be warned. Do not trust ship calm with your business

There is too much to even type out in a review but Shipcalm would have RUINED my business had I not made an exit plan within weeks of being there. Their sales rep, Brandon, went OVER THE TOP to sell us essentially a bullshit operation full of bullshit fake promises. Let me be super clear, they know this review is coming, it couldn’t possibly be a shock to ANYONE after the hundreds of slacks, hours spent on the phone and urgent emails back and forth. They continued to drop the ball on literally every aspect of logistics and partner fulfillment. They lost hundreds of packages, blamed tech and made massive costly human mistakes that ultimately cost my business over $50,000 by the time we had to leave A WEEK before Black Friday. If you own a small business and hear it was more risky to STAY at Shipcalm than make a transition to a new 3pl before the biggest week of the year with over 700 SKUS you can assume how truly diar it was. The final straw was having to deal with the CEO Greg (but everyone in the reviews has a different idea of who the CEO is). At first he was there to “stabilize” the business but quickly turned condescending, defensive and unprofessional. I couldn’t stomach paying them another scent. Whatever you do…do NOT trust them with your business. Biggest mistake I have made in the 2 years of scaling my 7 figure d2c brand. Oh and don’t even get me started on billing…I was grossly over billed on every single invoice. I have the emails, screenshots and slacks to prove how AWFUL this was. Please take this review seriously and pick a different partner.

Difficult company to work with at times. There is a disconnect between ops and management. My experience has been hit or miss. There are good people here however.

Beware the random and incorrect charges on your bill. Requires a fight and plenty of time to get get them removed.

ShipCalm is my third 3PL in a year. The first two were horrific experiences. Since my first interaction with Adam in sales, through the interactions with my team of Travis, Austin and Brandon what a difference a company that focuses on customer service makes. Working with ShipCalm has been a breath of fresh air by comparison to their competition. Their crystal clear pricing and true discounted shipping rates have cut my 3PL costs dramatically. It's been a fantastic first few months and I'm confident it will continue.
