Avoid Shipmonk at all costs. In the time I had my merchandise stored with them, I lost several thousand dollars in damaged and lost inventory due to poor packaging and handling on their part. No responsibility was ever taken by their team. There was never any empathy or ownership. They continually blamed outside forces and failed to compensate for even a single claim I filed with them. Shipmonk even shipped packages to customers without boxes - they sometimes slapped a label directly to the product itself and mailed it out (see photos). Complete negligence on every level. Incompetence. You’re better off fulfilling all of your orders on your own, which is what I’m now doing. When they found out I was going to write a negative review, they offered a potential payout (equal to my financial losses) in exchange for me saying nothing. A week later, they revoked their offer citing that they “had acted in good faith” and that the loss and damage was none of their fault. Save your time and money…look elsewhere for a warehouse. Sure, they’ve got a few standup employees sprinkled in, but their upper leadership lacks integrity and refuses to take responsibility when they’ve made mistakes. There’s no way I’d ever do business with these people again.

Don't walk. Run! The worst experience and business decision ever. Sales guy sold us but the follow-up execution was beyond terrible. I couldn't believe the way our products were packed. The organizer of the event that we were sponsoring was pissed. The package was delayed more than two weeks, too late for the event. And when it was rerouted back to us, I couldn't believe the state it was in. All the liquids in the bottles leaked. Their workers just put 50 loose bottles full of liquid into a big plastic bag and threw them into a big box with no padding or protection! An 8-year-old would have done a better job packing it. And they charge us so much with many hidden fees. At the end, we cut our losses and ran.

They overcharged me by several thousands of dollars per month with hidden fees.

Ryan from Shipmonk asked me to take down my negative review before giving me my balance back.

Shady on many different levels. They were sued in 2021 by Depeuter Packaging Solutions for their dishonest fees. They still sneak them in til this day

When I left Shipmonk, they poorly packaged my goods. They arrived damaged to new logistics partner.

They also overcharged for packing up my stuff and shipping it. Around $10,000 just to pack and ship a few hundred shoes

Whatever you do, don't do business with this company. They were in charge of our fulfillment, and it was a NIGHTMARE. Initially things were okay, but then they stopped answering emails and calls. Some emails took as far as 1 month to get an answer from. The billing is confusing and complicated, charges pile up so quickly without much explanation. They look inventory, and it took 4 months to get compensated for it; someone just stopped answering my emails. I was charged for some tasks they were supposed to be doing, but they never did them. I was not refunded for it. I had really high hopes when I switched to them, read the other reviews and you'll see that it was the same situation with a lot of companies.

It was the WORST business decision we ever made. We removed all of our inventory only 3 months after integrating with them. It cost us a lot of time and money but it was the right move to unplug with them! We found another smaller fulfillment center and we are very happy with them. Find below my experience with them. The nightmare started almost immediately. I’m going to enumerate them in bullet points because there were so many.
1. they were taking almost one week to ship orders when we were told they would ship them in 48hours. They blame it on being under staffed and not being able to hire people in their area. How is that our problem?
2. They use the worst carriers. These people do not have USPS coming directly to their warehouse to pick up orders. With 5 years experience in shipping and e commerce, USPS is the most reliable carrier (yes I know lol) and the most affordable (especially if your orders are under 1lbs using first class mail.) When choosing your shipping options with shipmonk, you will be offered their “standard shipping option” to ship your items to your customers. It seems like the most affordable options. However they use the worst carriers. They use DHL to pick up the orders from their warehouse and bring it to the destination USPS post office of your customers. Then USPS is the one delivering the package for the “last mile”. This change of carrier in the delivery chains create many issues. Many times DHL will not deliver to usps and Mark it as delivered. Bottom line, their shipping method sucks and you will get so many packages lost you will have to ship again to your customers.
2. So many mispicks: these guys constantly shipped the wrong items to our customers. Sometimes they would send them products that are not even ours. From baby products to car equipments. The worst part is that they would sometimes send 10
Items of ours when the customer ordered only one! Can you imagine. Buy 1 get 10 free. I can’t tell you how much money we lost with that alone
3. They lose your inventory. For me that was the worst issue. We have expensive high end products, so each unit lost cost us a lot of money to replace. They lost for about 4k worth of inventory by misplacing our products in their warehouse. “Because people were not following protocol” like they were saying, our merchandise was being shipped to other people (form other companies) without us realizing it until our products would be out of stock even if we barely had any sales on some of them. This combined to the fact that they will send multiple items to customers when they ordered only one was the breaking point for me.
4. At this point, any other things is just a detail but worth mentioning. They would always use the wrong packaging. We were paying for bubble mailers or boxes and they will send our fragile merchandise in polymailers (the cheapest option). Our products would arrive completely destroyed. For example we sell expensive hats. They need to be in box so they don’t arrive all busted! Well that was not the case. We were receiving so many negative reviews because people received their hats destroyed. They were also constantly losing our marketing inserts. When they did, these would put all of our orders in back orders. Oh man I have many many other things to say but hopefully that’s enough for you to never ever go with these people! There are many fulfillment center options and it’s not easy to find a good one because most of them are terribly managed. I either recommend to build your own fulfillment solutions (rent a space and higher somebody to ship your orders, it will not be more expensive than shipmonk if you have 500-1k orders) or look for a small, family operated fulfillment center that will give you the attention you deserve. Shipmonk is the worst worst business decision I ever made. Stay away please!

By far the worse company ever!! Please do not do business with them unless you like losing money. They will never take responsibility, over charge you and shift blame every chance they get. I've lost major account/sales cause i've done business based on their empty promises.

Update- They just responded to the review to try and save face publicly (a year after I posted it). This company is terrible
