For a town who's winter ain't too brutal, the Centric LoHi sure is the coldest place I've ever lived. From exorbitant fees, and only a single parking space for a two bedroom, to the fact that neither my roommate or I met a guinuine friend our whole time here (we are quite friendly folks)

Then there were all the problems with the building. Sometimes dogs would pee in the hallway. They would do a pretty terrible job of cleaning it up. And once Springtime came, the elevators started acting up. Then proceeded one of the most chaotic and frustrating summers of climbing stairs due to down elevators I have ever seen. We live in the fifth floor.

When we moved in, they told us that we lived in the most auto theft crime ridden neighborhood in Denver or something like that. Maybe the third most. I signed something that said they weren't responsible for everything, so we should keep our car locked, which I always did.

Then the garage gate Broke..they let us know that some part was now outdated (this building was built in like 2016) ok. So it took like 4 weeks to fix. The third week though bum bum ba bummm, my car got stolen. They put a "monitored camera by the gate that this criminal drove out. Did they notify me? No? No security gaurd present. No monitoring by this camera supposedly set up to prevent theft.
The second i arrived at my expensive arsss monthly paid bloody parking spot I saw it was stolen. I had to let them know the next day it was stolen, they had no idea. Fast forward mates (not from the uk, but a buddy is rubbing off on me. But yes. 6 bloody weeks later. My car is still getting fixed. I'm paying out of pocket for a rental which is extra expensive and shitty since it is for ride-share.

Centric just informed me they will not be willing to do any credit or even a waived cleaning fee as we end our Nightmarish Lease of Centric Lohi. A legend it was not, though this story slapped I do pray, as I try to wipe the terrible dreams of this place i stay. ?

I’ll summarize my review of Centric after living here for just under a year. All of the reviews you read here have elements of truth to them. Depending where you live you’ll either have elevator issues (building one) or a perfectly functional elevator system (building two). Your garage gate may be working great (building two) or broken (building one).
I’ve had one package stolen so far, as packages that don’t fit in the limited locker space are simply piled up in the mail room for anyone to look through. My apartment shower was moldy upon move in (like others have experienced) but to their credit they did clean it after I requested it. My car has not been stolen, but I can’t say I ever feel 100% safe in the garage (especially early morning or late at night).
The grounds need some additional maintenance. There are broken refrigerators sitting in the garage of building two, and generally dirty sidewalks and common areas that need pressure washing.
The apartments themselves look nice, but are typical low cost wooden construction that you find in most complexes these days. You can hear your neighbors pretty clearly walking around and sometimes talking (if you have respectful neighbors this place is great, if you don’t, you’re not going to get much sleep). To date all of the appliances have worked as expected.
If I had to make a single recommendation to improve this community I would say they are in desperate need of a 24 hour concierge to accept phone calls, manage packages, and provide an additional level of security and presence for the community.
The location is really the reason to live here, and ultimately that’s what you pay for. Would I live here again? Probably not. There’s nothing special enough to keep me from not looking elsewhere nearby. Now that the year round pool is under construction, that’s one less amenity we can’t use but still pay for. I’ll note I have not seen any emails requesting residents to post positive reviews of the community, so I assume the reviews are fairly accurate and organic. I will add that the property management team is very responsive to feedback and requests. I think that with a few minor changes this place could be 4-5 stars.
Fees: for anyone budgeting be aware that trash fees are approximately $40/mo, parking requires an extra $8 fee on top of the $125 (which is not clearly indicated before completing a lease), admin fees ($10/mo), and pest control fees ($10/mo).

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the exceptional service provided by Devin, our apartment's maintenance man. He truly went above and beyond in addressing two issues in my unit.Firstly, I had some light bulbs that needed replacing. Devin was prompt in his response, arriving at my apartment with all the necessary tools and bulbs. He efficiently replaced the bulbs, ensuring that every light fixture was working perfectly. His attention to detail and quick work made the process seamless.Secondly, I encountered a water issue with my tub. Once again, Devin came to the rescue. He quickly diagnosed the problem and set to work, fixing the issue with expertise and precision. He made sure that everything was in order, leaving no mess behind. His ability to handle such problems with ease and professionalism is truly commendable.Overall, Devin's dedication to his job and the residents he serves is evident in the quality of his work. He is courteous, skilled, and always ready to help. I feel fortunate to have him as our maintenance man, and I can confidently say that he is one of the best in the business.

Update:
Devon came back to the rescue quickly identifying an issue with one of our AC units that was not working. Devon promptly troubleshooted the issue and was able to get the AC up and running in no time. I really appreciate all he does for the residents!

Two out of the three elevators in this building have not been operational for the last four months. When someone is moving in or out, the third working elevator is reserved, leaving residents with no elevators in a five story building. Whoever is in charge of the elevator repairs is either (A) incompetent on a level rarely encountered and wouldn’t know how to replace the batteries in a remote or (B) a careless and lazy individual, the type of person that owns an obnoxious truck but won’t help you move your couch. Entirely new elevators are installed in less time than it’s taken Centric to repair theirs. They feed residents vague updates with no concrete timeline like we’re children on a road trip from hell. Throwing blame back on the elevator company is poor taste and not fooling anyone; it’s all Centric’s lack of action and carelessness about their residents and their property. The garage door is also broken with repairs months away, so it’s been a window smashing extravaganza down there. Never live here.

This place has truly been a massive waste of money. I moved in March and since April (4 months) we have had consistently broken elevators with no empathy from the building, in fact they’ve been incredibly dismissive of the overwhelmingly angry population that’s been taking the stairs for months. Recently, we also have a broken garage door meaning none of our cars are secure in the spots we pay money for. They chalk all of this up to “third party vendors” which I no longer buy or accept as an excuse since this has been such an ongoing issue. They will not lower rent or offer us anything with these ongoing and literally never ending issues.

The location is great. Maintenance has been fast and responsive. The office has worked with me on a few issues and resolved them quickly.

It's losing a star due to Xfinity being the sole internet provider. They continue to lie, overcharge, and provide inconsistent service compared to competitors. Unfortunately you have to use them here.

Please provide more internet options! Xfinity's garbage is not acceptable especially for remote work.

One of the best apartments we’ve ever lived in. Incredibly communicative and proactive management staff, maintenance is always prompt and helpful. Really friendly community and we enjoy the amenities a lot. Main issues have been elevators go out of service a bit more than we’d like but overall it’s so hard to find a property with such excellent staff we can’t recommend them highly enough!

Update after living here for 2+ years - This building has gone seriously downhill. The building used to be clean and didn't have any major issues but management has not done a good job keeping things clean and in proper working order. Our elevators have been out of commission for months. There are 3 elevators in building 1, one of which hasn't been working since April, the second elevator only works about 50% of hte time (on a good day), and the third elevator that is the only reliable elevator is constantly being used for people moving in and out so you can't use it when that's happening and this elevator doesn't go down to the parking garage. So be prepared to walk up multiple flights of stairs when living here. The building is also filthy. They vacuum the hallways maybe once a month and they never clean the stairwells so they are disgusting and if someone vomits or leaves food or trash in the stairwells you have to notify maintenance to get it cleaned up. The parking garage gate has also been broken for about 2 months now so we're paying for secured parking even though it's not secure. On top of all of that, the leasing office doesn't give a shit about these things being broken down and won't do anything when you complain, which MANY people in the building have been doing for months now. And some people in the leasing office are just flat out rude when you try to talk to them about issues you're having. The units themselves are fine but I would not choose to live here if I were looking for a new rental in the area unless you're okay with taking 5 flights of stairs with bags/luggage/etc, vomit/food/trash in the stairwells, no secure parking, rude staff, etc. The only really good thing about the building is the exception maintenance staff who are super friendly and response to any requests if something needs repair inside your unit.
