Keeping it 100% I was blessed to obtain my CDL October 2023 but let me be clear I obtain my CDL because I worked my rear end off to ensure I passed. The trainers at the time were phenomenal Roger, Bruce, Albert it don’t get no better than those 3 but past week 1 the rest is honestly on you. Those trainers are over worked and short handed and don’t have the resources they should have to make this training smoother for the students and their hands are tied at the end of the day. Moving on to phase 2 I was blessed to have a phenomenal trainer and fleet manager Bryan Hawkins my OTR trainer was more than I could have ever asked for. My fleet manager Josh V was heaven sent and has and always will go above and beyond. These are just a few good apples at this company. In the last year Major changes have been made and are continuing to be made, so many drivers and personnel have been FIRED OR FORCED TO QUIT FOR SMALL ISSUES. As a new driver when I started out on my own leasing I got stuck in a lot that had a mud hole and had to be pulled out at my expense! 7 months ago and it’s being held against me now ? Recently with the storms on the coast a limb got stuck behind my tractor and a bracket broke on my fairing mind you the fairing is completely in tact it’s slightly bent . I’m being punished for that. I’ve had no accidents . I was even allowed to start training . This has devastated me and my family especially being rite at Christmas. But it’s okay this is Wilson logistics loss as they have let go of many other great drivers and they choose to keep trainers that don’t teach their students and just make them drive forward without learning.and we will not get started on hygiene. If you make the choice to go with Wilson I pray it works out for you I’ve seen many students sent home for minor issues. So many give up everything to try and make this new career work and it’s a slap in the face when they fire you or let you go for nothing ! I know my worth and will move forward with a better company that is truly family oriented and not full of LIESSSSS ON TOP OF LIEEEEESSSSS. They also owe me layover pay that I have been asking for since July. I hope this gives some insight to how this company runs. Thank you to those that are genuine that work for this company.

Recruiter would call once a week if your lucky. Would not respond to their texts, would not ever call you back on request, would not respond to many emails and if they did, it was only for their own inquiry (not anything you want to know). Was told to get permit and dot physical (which I paid for) Once you submitted anything, it would be several days and they would ask for that item again without even checking for it. Was extremely frustrating. Then when you call, you will mostly get a voicemail on the first ring and it was never returned. 1 time someone else answered and they asked for the same document I sent a week before and then they said recruiter would call back and they never did. Never gor any of my questions addressed. Finally just went to another company after several weeks of this. However, no reimbursement for the physical or the permit from another place since I already got it for this company. You just don't get anywhere with them. Not sure if it was just my recruiter or every recruiter but in the end, same result.

Don't go with them go to a different company they lie to you they say they'll help you they have your back they don't I ask for help on some couple of things on the road we said sure we got you they lied I got back in oh we're not interest down yours now like really wow they're a real POS they're just after the money they really don't care and their trainers are very rude no patience I don't know how they're still in business I was also told I have the number one trainer oh I didn't get the number one trainer never got any help thanks a lot for nothing but at least I have my CDL and they're dispatch manager she stood there with the owner of son thinking it was funny with a smirk on her face while he was talking to me I was like wow real professional not thank God I got out when I did and they also put you in a hotel that has bed bugs because I got ate up by then I told them that and they're like well that's the only place we have I was like wow

Terrible company, they scam and scheme their drivers. It's their bread and butter. Very low pay, terrible benefits, disrespectful dispatch and management, worse training program in the industry and the Wilson family cares only about themselves.

It was an okay company until DW gave the company to his kiddos and watched them run it into the ground at the drivers expense.

Any 5 star reviews you see are from students in training that are strongly advised to give a 5 star rating BEFORE going OTR with a trainer for 3 months. They changed addresses too, and conveniently, Google erased the prior addresses reviews. The previous Google Map reviews of Wilson Logistics had over 1000 reviews with an overall 2.1 star rating.

I've been with them for over a year. Love them. Governed@62 /65 if lease. Only cameras facing outward, no inside ones. I went from working retail 17+ years with only 3 years driving to being comfortable driving my rig. The training is a week at the terminal, but then you're 3-4 weeks with a trainer 1 on 1. As long as you're showing your willingness to learn and can get the basic maneuvers, you can easily go far. It's up to you and your determination to pass and succeed here. I believe that's the best way to learn.
